All this is in a little tiny box!
Come hear a demonstration of a virtual pipe organ. The original pipe organ is a Casavant 3-manual (or keyboard) instrument located in St. George’s Memorial Anglican Church in Oshawa. Each pipe of the instrument was recorded digitally and will be featured at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1299 Brant St. in Burlington on Saturday, November 17 at 1:30pm. But you won’t see all the pipes. What you will see is a computer, some speakers and three keyboards and a pedal board. It is a wonder of our modern-day computer technology. We will have three musicians performing that day and a former organ builder explaining the basics of the pipe organ. The result will be an informative but musically pleasing session. Admission will be free.
