Dear Friends,
Greetings in Jesus’ name.
Let me share a spiritual “Never Again List”:
- Never again will I live with guilt. for “there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1 ESV)
- Never again will I allow bondage, for “the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (2 Corinthians 3:17 ESV)
- Never again will I fear Satan, for “he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4 ESV)
- Never again will I confess weakness, for “The LORD is the stronghold of my life.” (Psalm 27:1 ESV) and “the people who know their God shall stand firm and take action.” (Daniel 11:32 ESV)
- Never again will I live in fear, for “God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” (2 Timothy 1:7 ESV)
- Never again will I show doubt and lack of faith, for “God has allotted to each a measure of faith.” (Romans 12:3 NASB)
- Never again will I claim lack, for “my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 ESV)
- Never again will I say ‘I can’t!’, for “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13 KJV)
According to my sinful nature and unbelief I can and do falter. But living by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me, the above statements are true – for me AND for you! Ponder the verses above that prove these points.

This Sunday, we will conclude the sermon series on Paul’s letter to the Philippians entitled, “How You Think is How You Feel”:

Free and Joyous Response:
The Bible Study series, “Matters of the Heart” begins next week. It marks the beginning of Free & Joyous Response here at Prince of Peace. Have you signed up to attend one of the following? Have you invited someone else to come along with you? The same study for the week will be offered 3 times:
- Tuesday @ 9:30am – The Tuesday Bible Study
- Tuesday @ 7:00pm – Available during the four weeks of F&JR
- Sunday @ 9:00am – The Adult Bible Class
Sunday Breakfast: During the 4 Sundays of the Free & Joyous Response focus, breakfast will be served to Sunday School children and to adults attending the Sunday Bible Class option for the “Matters of the Heart” Bible study. We will say grace to begin eating at 8:50am. Then we’ll have a short opening downstairs before dismissing to our classes.
The Sundays October 19 through November 2 are organized around the theme, “God’s Supply – Our Trust.” Hudson Taylor spent 51 years in China as missionary during the 1800s. Being an early missionary to China, Taylor worked under the most challenging of circumstances. Yet he was able to believe and say, “God’s work done in God’s way will never lack God’s supply.” That is true still – for your home, for your local congregation here at Prince of Peace, and for our entire synod. It is an encouraging message!
Consecration Sunday & Luncheon is set for November 9. Sign up to attend this luncheon celebration that concludes our Free & Joyous Response emphasis. The meal will feature sausage and sauerkraut and all the fixings.
Attendance Commitment Forms have been in the bulletin the last couple of weeks and will be this Sunday. Join your brothers and sisters of Prince of Peace in this spiritual growth opportunity!
