Vacancy Pastor Rev. Robert Krestick, continues to lead us each Sunday in Bible Study and Worship Service. Rev. James Schnarr will be visiting shut-ins. We appreciate and thank them for offering to help us out during this vacancy. If you should have any Pastoral needs during our vacancy, please contact one of our elders. They will address your needs and concerns to the appropriate Pastor.
Hauptwerk Organ Proposal: Church Council is calling for a meeting of the voter’s assembly for Sunday July 14, following the worship service, to recommend the purchase of a Hauptwerk organ and implement a fund raising campaign for that purpose. All voting members are asked to attend as a quorum needs to be met. The following is a motion proposed by your church council along with further information regarding this proposal. Moved that we proceed with the implementation of a Hauptwerk organ, as proposed by council and presented to the congregation, and that a fund raising campaign for this acquisition be implemented. Total cost of the organ re-fit not to exceed $28,000.
With this motion, council recommends the proposed organ re-fit should be advance now because our existing organ may fail at any time. There are volunteers available to work the project over the next few weeks as the choir is in recess and the balcony area is available. There are potential pledges made known in the area of $15,000 that will cover a major part of the cost. We believe that additional offerings and fund raising efforts will cover the remaining costs.
Divine Call Information – A new Call meeting has not as yet been determined. Council would like to have a discussion with Regional Pastor Bublitz to discuss the current call process. This meeting will take place on Friday July 12th at 6 pm.

Food4Kids Fact: 10% of school-aged children in Halton live at or below the poverty level and come to school hungry. The smallest kind, loving gesture can have a lasting impact on a child. We are collecting for Food4Kids who provide healthy food for children with limited or no access to food each weekend. We are collecting both perishable and non-perishable items such as individual packets of oatmeal, apple sauce, fruit cups, soup, baked beans, cans of chili and stew, cans of tuna and salmon, raisins, pasta, cheese and cracker packs, cookies, fresh fruit and vegetables. Perishable items can be left in the downstairs fridge. God bless and a big heartfelt thank you for all your donations and your love expressed to those in need, Donna Hutchison
Celebrate Christian education! Let us give thanks to God for the interest and support of our Sunday School staff. We rejoice in our students, both children and adults, and pray the Lord will bless the seed of God’s Word sown, and that we might grow in grace and in numbers moving forward.
Men’s Street Ministry meets face-to-face with the homeless and less fortunate in downtown Hamilton, distributing soup, sandwiches, snacks, beverages and clothing to those in need, and showing God’s love to those they meet along the way. “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” Matthew 25:35. The organization is looking for mayonnaise and tuna to prepare sandwiches for needy persons in Hamilton.
Church Repairs– The trustees have arranged a date for the repairs to the carport at the entrance to the front of the church and the fascia at the back of the church. Work will start July 23 and is expected to be completed by July 27.
In your prayers, please remember all of our elderly and shut-in friends and family as they contend with the challenges of poor health.
