The process is in the hands of LCC leaders who decide where candidates receive their first call. We will have to be patient since it will be late May when the Candidates are assigned. The Times in Which We Live – is a very interesting article by Reverend David Haberstock, (who is the LCC Central Regional Pastor) in the recent Canadian Lutheran. He writes about the good old days in the Christian community with full churches and growing Sunday School attendance verses the current situation where we see declining membership in all facets of Christian life. What should we do about the problems? It is an extremely informative article and well worth reading.
Vacancy Pastor Rev. Robert Krestick, continues to lead us each Sunday in Bible Study and Worship Service. Rev. James Schnarr is visiting shut-ins and teaching the Confirmation Class. We appreciate and thank them for offering to help us out during this vacancy. If you should have any Pastoral needs during our vacancy, please contact one of our Elders. They will address your needs and concerns to the appropriate Pastor.
