We are Open for Worship!
Ontario has moved into stage 1 of its reopening plan (see https://www.ontario.ca/page/reopening-ontario for details). Indoor religious services may operate at 15% capacity in stage 1.
Communion will be offered on Sunday June 11 during the worship service. If there is more demand for Communion than what can be accommodated in our worship Service, Pastor will offer additional sessions (with max 15% capacity) for confession, absolution and Communion after the worship service until everyone who desires Communion has received it.
CONTACT THE CHURCH OFFICE to register for worship service and Communion. You will be advised whether you can be accommodated in the main worship service or a following Communion-only service.
“I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord!’” Until then, stay tuned for more details.
If you are unable to attend in person you are encouraged to:

Thanks and Praise to God, we have had a wonderful and joyous response to support the ordination and installation of our soon to be Pastor Zakel. Our committee is energized and excited for this event. We are all working very hard to provide a wonderful experience and we pray that this inspires all of you. As a community of Christ-focused followers there is no better time than right now, in OUR Prince of Peace church history to be able to witness the bonding of our new Pastor to our Congregation.
Please follow the link on POP E-news and register to come to this service. We also understand that this is still COVID times and on the Web page there is a link so that you can live stream the service. Again, this committee is doing everything we can to share this exciting and wonderful day with EVERYONE!!!
As our committee has most of the preparations mapped out, we are now in the finer details of who is going to do what. If any of you would like to be a volunteer for this event we would love to hear from you. There is a wide range of different tasks that we could use a few inspired individuals to help with.

Please remember those in mourning, those being treated for cancer, those recovering from surgery, those who have tested positive with COVID-19, our elderly and shut-in friends, all those under doctor’s care, and all those separated from family due to the COVID-19 restrictions. For those suffering with anxiety, depression, and those who are unemployed or underemployed. Those coping with the chances and changes of life, as well as our future Pastor-elect David Zakel, our Vacancy Pastor Robert Krestick, and Rev. James Schnarr. Restore Canada and the world in health and livelihood, and preserve us from pestilence and fear.
