Vacancy Pastor, Rev. Robert Krestick, continues to lead us each Sunday in Bible Study and Worship. Pastor Jim Schnarr is teaching confirmation and visiting shut-ins. We appreciate and thank them for offering to help us out call one of our elders. They will address your concerns to the appropriate Pastor.
Call Meeting – The next call meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, January 6, 2019 following the church service. If you have a specific Pastor that you wish to see on the call list, please let our Chairman or Head Elder know so the individual Pastor can be added to the list of candidates. Pastor Krestick will preside over the calling process. Please plan to stay after the service as a quorum of voting members is required to proceed with the call for a new Shepherd to lead us here at Prince of Peace.
A big Thank You to everyone who bought Nicaraguan coffee to support the Jinotega “Feed the Children” program. You helped us raise $790! Once again, thank you.
Pastor Krestick will be heading to Costa Rica/Nicaragua in January with the LCC mission Team Zion and would welcome donations to help fund supplies for these two missions. You can make cash donations or cheques can be made payable to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and mark them for “Nica” or Team Zion.
