Sunday Mornings
Christian Education Hour resumes January 9 at 9:00AM
Divine Service every Sunday at 10:30AM
The province has recently updated their current advice to churches as of January 5th in response to the current situation, you can read it here. This new guidance restricts our capacity to 50% of a space. While we will not turn anyone away from the Lord’s house, we have means to address any possible overflow, by seating in other areas of the church. Still, we do ask that you CONTACT THE CHURCH OFFICE to register your attendance at the 10:30AM Sunday Divine Service. You may reach the office at (905) 332-7671 or send an email to office@poplc.ca. For those who regularly attend each Sunday, your attendance will automatically be assumed unless otherwise noted to the contrary. Lastly, we do ask that if you are sick or experiencing symptoms (or someone in your household is) that you stay home and join the service remotely.
Please continue to be mindful of the masking and distancing requirements. We are working to ensure that there is enough room for all who desire to attend the Divine Service.
During Holy Communion, members of the same family “bubble” (i.e. Husband and Wife; Parents and Children) may approach (in pilgrim style, as we have been doing) and receive Holy Communion together. We look forward to the day when we can once again kneel at the Communion rail to receive the Lord’s holy and precious body and blood, given and shed for the forgiveness of sins.
May Almighty God be merciful to us, and strengthen our faith.
If you are unable to attend in person you are encouraged to:
- subscribe to our YouTube channel
- watch for specific service information and links in POP:Connect
- us our phone service at (855) 779-1517 (you can sign up to receive a phone call when worship begins)
You may reach the office at (905) 332-7671 or office@poplc.ca

Christian Education Hour:
Join us when Christian Education Hour resumes this Sunday, January 9, at 9:00AM in the Sanctuary. We will discuss “Claimed and Tested.” At Jesus’ Baptism in the Jordan River, the heavens open, the Spirit descends, and the Father speaks: “You are My beloved Son” (Luke 3:22). Jesus goes from the waters of Baptism to the wilderness, where He faces a series of temptations from the devil. Jesus resists each one as He speaks the truth of God’s Word against the lies of Satan.
