Christian Education Hour
This coming Sunday, we will study “Fiery Directions.” Miraculously rescued through the waters of the Nile by Pharaoh’s daughter, Moses escapes the condemnation pronounced on the other Hebrew boys. Leaving behind his life of privilege, Moses flees to Midian, where he encounters the living God in a burning bush. Through this encounter, God directs and equips Moses to rescue His chosen people from their slavery in Egypt.

Our Adopted Seminary Student for 2021/2022
This year the PoP Ladies Guild has adopted Michael Thomas, a 1st year Master of Divinity student at Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary, St. Catharines. In Michael’s own words, “I grew up in the small town of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota. After high school I moved to the booming metropolis of Chicago, Illinois to study music, biblical languages, and theology at Concordia University, Chicago. While not studying, you will likely find me in a music practice room writing music or suffering through piano, or in the kitchen cooking.”
