In your Prayers
Prayers of Supplication
- For our students and teachers, school staff, parents, and all those that assist in some capacity as they return to school this week; that the Lord would guide their endeavors and guard all that they say and do.
- those in mourning, those being treated for cancer, those recovering from surgery, those who have tested positive with COVID-19,
- our elderly and shut-in friends, all those under doctor’s care, and all those separated from family due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
- For those suffering with anxiety, depression, and those who are unemployed or underemployed. Those coping with the chances and changes of life.
- For persecuted Christians the world over; that they would hold fast to the Lord in the faith once delivered to the saints even in the face of prison and death.
- For our brothers and sisters in Haiti, and for that nation as they deal with the aftermath of the recent earthquake.
- For our brothers and sisters in Afghanistan, and for that nation as it slips into the chaos and tyranny brought about by the Taliban. And for all members of our armed forces who served in Afghanistan as they struggle with the heartbreaking news coming from the country in which they worked and lost comrades.
- That the Lord would preserve us from all plague and pestilence, and from all fear; and that He would speedily bring an end to this pandemic according to His will.
- For all those running for election; and for our fellow citizens that we may be: at peace amongst ourselves; choose trustworthy leaders; contribute to wise decisions for the general welfare; and serve our Lord faithfully in our generation.
Prayers of Thanksgiving
- For the Lord’s work of physical healing through the gift of medicine and skilled medical staff.
