Vacancy Pastor, Rev. Robert Krestick, continues to lead us each Sunday in Bible Study and Worship. Rev. James Schnarr is teaching confirmation and visiting shut-ins. We appreciate and thank them for offering to help us out during this vacancy. If you should have any Pastoral needs during our vacancy, please talk to one of our Elders. They will address your concerns to the appropriate Pastor.
Lenten Season The season of Lent is fast approaching. The Elders have arranged with Pastor Krestick to lead an Ash Wednesday Service on March 6th at 7:00 pm preceded by a pot luck dinner at 5:30 pm. Because we are in vacancy situation, this will be the only Wednesday Lenten Service available at Prince of Peace. We will be determining when the Lenten Services are being held at our sister churches in the area and you will be notified of the times the services are being held at the specific churches.

Pastor Call Notes: Pastor Abraham has declined our Call to Prince of Peace having determined that God wishes him to continue serving the congregation at St. Peter’s in Simcoe. A Call Meeting has been scheduled for Sunday February 17, 2019 following the morning worship service. Voters, please plan to attend. A list of Pastors on the call list is available in the narthex. These posted lists must remain in the narthex and may not be copied. The list will be supplied to the voters at the time of the meeting. God will provide a new shepherd for Prince of Peace in His time.
The Ladies Breakfast Bible Study meets the 2nd Saturday of each month and our next Bible Study is February 16. Come, join us as we look to God’s word for hope and joy. Breakfast begins at 9am.
Seminary Food Drive – Twice a year we like to support the Seminary students by filling their Food Pantry. All donations are appreciated. A collection bin can be found at the top of the stairs at the back entrance to the church.
In your prayers, please remember:
· Those who are sick and shut-ins as they are challenged by age and health issues.
· those who struggle with dementia and their loved ones who care for them
· our congregation as we seek a new Pastor
